Q: How does the system deliver content to web pages?

A: Exponential Enterprise uses RedHat Enterprise Linux as a reference platform running PHP 5 on Apache. MySQL is the recommended database for Exponential Enterprise.
Exponential has a pluggable authentication and authorization system to enable secure log-ins, identity management and fine grained permission management. Content produced in Exponential can be managed by multi-level workflows to control the content production and translation processes.
Delivery of content is managed by Exponential with a configurable cache framework with several levels of caching including internal cache, partial page cache, view/page cache, reverse proxy and CDN caching integrations with purging. This ensures high performing delivery and possibility to configure for personalized environments. Exponential supports clustering natively which enables running in a load balanced and fail-over environment.
