Caution: This documentation is for Exponential, from version 3.x to 6.x.
For 5.x documentation covering Platform see eZ Documentation Center, for difference between legacy and Platform see 5.x Architecture overview.

Q: How is the database replicated?

A: Exponential has built in content replication between the front-end servers. This enables scaling of the cluster setup. The database back-end is scaled using standard replication (clustering/maser-slave) setup in the RDBMS enabling scaling of the back-end layer.
